I’m working on overcoming my self-harm. I sometimes cut my wrists. I’ve been trying to find alternate ways to cope, ways to stop, for a while now. I then found the Butterfly Project.
Draw a butterfly (or anything you want, really. Get artsy with it) where you cut. Until the butterfly washes away, you can’t cut.
I used an ‘artist marker for graphics’, from Typo, to draw this. I’m going to draw a different design each time, and upload them here. I’m going to do this until I’m confident I can go without cutting myself. I might even keep doing it after that, just for fun. It will be a nice way to remember what I used to do, once I’m over it.
